How do we ask customers for reviews?
You prompt customers you already know through SMS, WhatsApp, or email, usually after a visit or booking, using a simple template and link to your chosen review platform.
Do customers need to opt in?
Yes. Review prompts are sent only to customers who have opted in to receive messages. Customers can unsubscribe at any time.
Will this annoy customers or feel spammy?
It should not. We limit how often this is asked, for example only ask after fifth repeat visit, and limit prompts to at most once every few months per customer.
What about negative reviews?
Negative reviews happen. The goal is to spot issues early, respond calmly, and learn what needs fixing. You can also offer a private feedback route for customers who prefer to share issues directly.
Which review sites does this support?
Most pubs focus on Google because it drives local discovery, but you can link to other review sites if needed.
Is this designed for walk-in led pubs?
With consent, bookings capture guest details so you can recognise repeat customers and use Offers and Messaging to invite them back midweek.
